Watched Changeling during DS and it almost moved me to tears... I really do recommend u guys to watch it as it is really an UBER NICE movie!!! This is based on a true story of how the boy Walter Collins went disappearing and was never found up till this very date. No one exactly knows whether he's alive or murdered by Gordan Northcott... I personally feel that Christine Collins is really a Superwoman and I really admire her strong and indomitable spirits in finding her son.
Below are some of the favourite phrases and conversations that I really liked!!!
Christine Collins (Mum) : How was school?
Walter Collins (Son): Ok, yeah... We learned about dinosaurs. And I got into a fight with Billy Mankowski.
Christine Collins: What happened?
Walter Collins : He hit me.
Christine Collins: Did u hit him back?
Walter Collins: (* Nod his head*)
Christine Collins: Good. Rule number one. Remember? Never start a fight, always finish it.
(* Even though it was Walter who started the fight because one of his classmates mocked at him that his father doesn't like him... *)
At the Asylum... All the patients stand in one row outside their rooms waiting for the Head- Doctor to examine them and their progress report.
Doctor: File. (*Looking at her...*) Privacy, please.
*All the patients move into their rooms immediately... Clearing the corridoor space...*
Doctor: I see that you've been refusing medication, requiring force feeding. (*Pause for a while*) Six days, Mrs. Collins, and no progress. We may have to move on to more strenuous therapies.
Christine Collins: *Looking at the doctor with a look of " I dun even bother!!!" *
Doctor: Unless you're willing to prove that you're doing better by signing this. (* Handing out a police statement that Christine Collins is wrong and that the LAPD is right.*)
Christine Collins: Fuck you and the horse you rode in on.
Doctor: Room 18. (* Where mental patients are given the "electrical treatment" to calm and them to a state of unconsciousness...*)
Christine Collins: *Still giving the doctor a look that she is going to beat the HELL out of him!!!*
Back at The Church Pastor's house...
The Church Pastor: How are you feeling?
Christine Collins: All right.
The Church Pastor: The police still have a car outside, I guess they're waiting to see what your next move is going to be.
Christine Collins: I'm going home.
The Church Pastor: And then?
Christine Collins: Then I've been giving it a lot of thought. And what they did to those women, and what they did about Walter. I used to always tell him, " You never start a fight, but you always finish it." And I didn't start this fight, but I'm gonna finish it.
Don't u peeps find it very encouraging and that the motivation to spur u on ahead in life?
Therefore... I really encouraged and urged u guys to watch this movie if u guys haven't watch it... (* I watched 4 times already and I still haven't get enough of it!!! :-D *)
